ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Soheil. I have finished my Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Western Australia (UWA), having previously completed a Bachelor of Applied Physics and a Master of Atomic and Molecular Physics. I have had teaching experience for more than 15 years in Australia and overseas, tutoring a diverse range of subjects (e.g., Math, Physics, Chemistry, Coding, Astronomy, etc.) at primary school, high school, and the university. This allows me to develop a variety of teaching and learning skills that I believe can assist students of all levels in reaching their educational goals.

I am also a member of the Outreach Team at the Physics Department of the UWA and have conducted various lectures for high school students and in Public (e.g., SciTech). I have a Working With Children (WWC) permit, and my business has been selected as one of the Most Popular tutorial Activities with the highest number of visits, positive reviews, and overall engagement since 2019!

Easy Science Tutoring is an educational support service specialising in the mathematical & physical sciences. This tutoring centre provides professional private tuition for school and university students studying mathematics, science (Physics and Chemistry), statistics and Astronomy at all levels. Easy Science Tutoring also aims to promote greater interest and awareness in math and science. Our experience allows us to make learning more enjoyable and turn lessons into a unique experience for students.

Do you offer online/group tutoring?

Yes, we offer both online and group tutoring. There is also a discount for group sessions.

What subjects do you teach?

Easy Science Tutoring teaches a variety of primary school, high school, HSC, SACE, BSSS, QCE, TASC, WACE & VCE subjects such as Maths (methods, applications and specialist), Physics, Science as well as the University subjects such as Maths, Physics and coding (Python, R, etc). Easy Science Tutoring also gives you the option to request lessons face-to-face or online! 

Is tutoring available over school holidays?

Yes, tuition is available during school holiday periods. We also offer especial programs to students over the summer holiday period. Feel free to contact us if you would like to know more.

What is the duration of a lesson?

All in-person or online lessons are run for a period of 60 minutes.

How can I communicate about my child's progress with tutor?

As a part of the Easy Science Tutoring program, parents will be updated about their child's progression regularly. This will go through brief discussion, email or via phone.  

Can the tutor conduct lessons at my home?

Yes, all face-to-face lessons are conducted at your home. Online tutorials are also available.

Are there any public resources or study materials for me?

Easy Science Tutoring offer additional public resources to help students with their studies. These resources include most valid and updated international references from different universities and high schools. 

What services does Easy Science Tutoring provide?

For school students, Easy Science Tutoring service provides after school tuition for helping students with homework, understanding subject concepts, or revision for tests and exams. Also we offer individual tuition to university students and mature age students who may require a tutor to assist with a maths, physics, or science unit.
Exams often form a big part of the academic assessment. As well as studying course materials, there are many ways that you can prepare for exams to increase your confidence and help you take the right approach. Easy Science Tutoring guides you on the different types of exams you may encounter as well as tips on how to study for them, surviving exams and how to interpret clue words in questions.

Are you flexible with tutoring days and times?

Yes, at Easy Science Tutoring we will discuss scheduling constraints and work with the family to determine the best schedule for the sessions.
